My speech at Faneuil Hall for the 234th anniversary of the Boston Tea Party

234 years ago an irate band of rebels protested the tyranny of a distant government by dumping tons of tea in Boston Harbor. Today an equally irate group of concerned citizens protested the increasingly tyrannical Federal Government by marching on Faneuil Hall to reignite brushfires of freedom in the minds of men. Among the speakers was Rand Paul, Dr Paul's son.

It was the highlight of my short citizenship that I had the chance to speak at Faneuil Hall, the birthplace of our Constitution, on a stage where Washington once presided over its drafting.

On the same day, citizens across our vast Republic came together to make the largest single-day political donation in American history, donating over 6 million dollars in 24 hours to Ron Paul's campaign.

Today the principles on which our Republic was founded are lost; but, clearly, they are not forgotten.
